Week 8

Barcelona Pavilion was used for the official opening of the German section of the exhibition. It is significant to modern architecture. It was built up with steels and the other materials such as, glass, marble and onyx.

House at Bordeaux  has been designed for a family of parents and three children, but with a purpose. The materials on constructing the house are mainly steels, glass and concrete.

Rudin House is located in a village at the limit of France and Switzerland (Leymen), was one of the earliest works of Herzog & de Meuron, conducted for the art gallery owner Hanspeter Rudin. It looks like a typical child-drawing house in cartoon, and it was built up with concrete and steels.
